The Father, Son, and Their Donkey

The Father, Son, and Their Donkey
- Raima Hoque

One day the father and son went to the market to sell their pet donkey. Dad, son, and donkey are all walking. After going some distance, a man saw them and said, how stupid they are! The donkey is walking to stay. One can get on the back of a donkey and relax.
Hearing the man's words, the father put his son on the back of the donkey. The boy is riding on a donkey and the father is walking. After going some distance, another said, what a rude boy! He is riding his donkey and taking his old father is walking.
After hearing this comment, the father and son changed places. This time the father got on the donkey and the son walked. After going a little further, another man commented, What a cruel father! He is getting on the back of the donkey and the cute boy is walking.
After hearing this comment, both the father and the son got on the back of the donkey. The donkey started to move. After moving some distance, another saw them and said with regret, what torture! What an injustice! A donkey with two guys on it!
Father and son got into big trouble. How difficult! Blame it on walking with a donkey! Blame on the boy riding donkey! Blame on the father riding the donkey! Blame on the two! What can be done now?
Father and son came up with a new idea. They gathered bamboo and rope. Then he tied the donkey's four legs with that rope. Then he inserted the bamboo through the gap between the legs. The father started walking with the bamboo on the shoulder in front and the son behind. The donkey was hanging. The donkey moved in fear as he crossed the pool with the donkey on his shoulder. Father, son, and donkey fell into the canal. The donkey's spine broke. Father and son have broken legs. The donkey is no longer alive. The father and son returned home injured. And they couldn't sell the donkey, instead had a great loss.

Moral: We can't make everyone happy equally at the same time.
